
A refreshing citrus margarita with a buzzing sensation.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- ¾ oz orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- ½ oz agave syrup (or simple syrup)
- 1 freeze-dried buzz button
- Ice
- Salt for rimming (optional)
- Lime wheel for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Rim the glass with salt (optional) by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into salt.
- In a shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, agave syrup, and ice.
- Shake well for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wheel!
- Serve the Buzz Button on the side, or float on the top of your as a garnish.
Drinking Instructions:
It’s recommended to first take a small sip of your delicious margarita before eating the buzz button. Now that you have tasted the “before”, it’s time to prepare for the “after”.
Chew on the buzz button (you can eat the whole thing with or without the stem) for 10-20 seconds, or until the sensation becomes too much. You can then swallow the flower. At this point you should be noticing a very unique tingling sensation as well as increased saliva in your mouth.
